				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Having a blank canvas (or maybe in this case an empty bowl) is both fun and challenging. Queenie&#8217;s is a boutique ice cream producer with a wealth of internal personality and (pardon the pun) flavor. When asked to rework their website and collateral material, Vocal Minds went to the color palette to create pieces with the same vibrancy as the team behind Queenie&#8217;s. The results are bold and a bit brash, but deliver the scoop on Queenie&#8217;s in a fun way.</p>

Try to say too much, and it can quickly become a jumble. When it came time to redesign the Costa: Mechanical &amp; Refrigeration logo, Vocal Minds stripped away any clutter and created a mark that concisely gets across the a) Company Name, b) Mechanical element, and c) Refrigeration element. The shape was kept solid (effectively still a circle) with bold, interlocking pieces. The net result is a quickly identifiable mark that will serve this client well into the future.</p>

A logo that is dependent on color, or gradients, etc. will limit its application use. It may look stellar on your website, but fails miserably on a Polo shirt. Your logos complexity needs to be reducible to stark components. Build from black and white up, not the other way round. </p>
